Beautiful wales and Stunning scotland

2017 has proven to be busy so far. I've painted the beautiful River Towy in Wales and the breath taking view of Three Sisters, Glencoe in Scotland, which is currently being displayed in Regent Tayloring in Salisbury City centre.

I also have a few commission pieces in the pipeline over the next few months, they make ideal birthday or Christmas presents, so if you're thinking about the perfect gift for your loved one, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Also, I have just signed up for the Southbank Bristol Arts Trail which is the 13th and 14th of May, so if you are in the area, why not come along and say hello!

Beautiful Autumn

So, this past month has been a busy one for me. I had the great privilege of painting two commission pieces for a lovely couple that I've got to know. This was an exciting challenge for me because I'd never painted a house or garden flowers before. Fortunately for me, they were very pleased with the results, and I learned a new skill!

The next painting will be yet another challenge and privilege for me as it will be on canvas rather than my preferred way of working, on paper. Regent Taylors, a beautiful shop in the heart of Salisbury, have asked that I paint a scene for their suit room, can't wait to get started!

I am also taking numerous photos of the amazing Autumn colours that surround us at the moment. Such a beautiful time of year! Enjoy!

Where Did Summer Go?

It's hard to believe that Summer is nearly over!  We had a lovely family holiday in France for 2 weeks - wonderful weather and scenery and an opportunity to paint.  The Painting in this blog is of the River Vienne which was just so beautiful and such a joy to paint.  I'm gradually increasing the number of Prints for sale as they would make great presents for birthdays, Christmas or a special occasion. Please let me know if there's anything you're interested in that's not in the Prints section.  Thank you again for all your support.

Well it finally looks like Summer might have arrived - fingers crossed. I mentioned Prints in my last blog and am pleased to say that the new section of the website has details of Prints that I've been able to make available. It may be possible to make prints for other Artwork, so please feel free to ask.  Thank you to everyone for continuing to encourage and support me :)

Thank you again to everyone for the lovely comments and to all of you who have  visited the site.  The Stonehenge painting is now finished and I’m having some Limited Edition Prints made which will be available framed.  I’ll be updating the website in the next week or 2 with information about Prints, so please let me know your thoughts and what you’d like to see.

I mentioned last time that I found it uncomfortable writing a Blog and I can tell you that it hasn’t got any easier!  Let’s hope the weather gets better as the Summer holidays approach :)

Website Launch

Well the time has arrived to launch my new Website and it's been a mixture of excitement and trepidation.  Thank you to everyone for your lovely comments about my Artwork.  This latest painting is a scene in France from a Commission I've recently finished - really enjoyed doing it and so pleased that the wonderful couple who commissioned it liked it!

Having never written a Blog before, I feel a bit uncomfortable stepping out into something new like this, so please bear with me.  I'll try and keep it updated every couple of weeks or so and include work that I've got underway so you can see it develop :)
