I’m a visual artist and art class teacher, specialising in nature-inspired mixed-media artwork. I create originals of landscapes, wildlife, coastlines,
flowers and atmospheric street scenes. My work is driven by a deep love of nature and exploration, and I aim to produce paintings that local people recognise and connect with – connecting with nature helps mental health and calms people.

My style is semi-realistic with an impressionistic feel, focused on capturing atmosphere rather than literal representation. I’m drawn to themes of nature, tranquillity and escapism—painting scenes people can lose themselves in.

I use layers, mixed media and expressive colour to build mood, texture and emotion into each piece.

I sell my original paintings and high-quality prints both online and from my gallery and shop in the heart of Salisbury. My prints and. cards are professionally produced by family run business in Bristol – Redcliffe imaging.

Teaching is a big part of my practice. I run art classes and workshops for all abilities—morning sessions, evening sessions and full-day studio classes, all in the shop.I love helping to build people’s confidence, to explore their creativity and model an encouraging community on a creative
journey.

I also have a passion for brightening dark spaces and producing public art that lifts people’s moods. I have done several murals
which have transformed walls and spaces with bold, vibrant art, designed specifically for each location.

Over the past few years, I have worked with the National Trust producing a painting that is used over all their merchandise at Stourhead. I have also worked with SAA and Cass Art producing a step by step build up of one of my paintings for their paint and create magazine.
