This is a celebration of the beauty of the flora and fauna from my recent trip to Madeira. The combinations of the rich greens and browns of the foliage, coupled with the vibrancy of the contrasting colours of the flowers, was breathtakingly stunning!. I did many studies whilst on holiday and then prepared a composition once I returned home. I have tried hard to capture the saturation of colour, but nothing can really mimic the vibrancy of the real thing.
